According to co-founder and CEO Amr Gamal, the platform combines "a proprietary wallet infrastructure with smart acceptance tools" while using NFC-based vehicle identification to eliminate fraud and increase visibility across fueling and maintenance transactions.
Market Problem
The MENA and African fleet management landscape remains "fragmented, opaque, and paper-based," with businesses struggling with manual processes, fraud, and limited data visibility. Octane was designed to modernize on-road payments in emerging markets where existing infrastructure was inadequate.
Growth & Expansion
Currently operating in Egypt with market leadership, Octane is expanding to Saudi Arabia in August 2025, with two additional markets under study for Q2 2026 expansion.
